Who should register for the ‘A Way of Being with Children’ training?

A Way of Being with Children: A Trauma-Informed Approach to Building Resilience is based on over 20 years of mental health practice in childcare centers and schools, combined with the research on early childhood development, brain science, resilience, and trauma-informed care.

The manual and training bring together research and practice, providing knowledge and practice strategies that can be implemented immediately, in the classroom or at home. The content continues to evolve with additional workshops and tip sheets that are based on feedback from our work with parents, childcare centers, and schools – ways they need to support children in their care.

A Way of Being with Children used the latest research combined with actual, daily practice with children, their caregivers, and families.

It was designed for teachers, parents, caregivers – or anyone who lives or works with children. The ‘Way of Being’ is the foundation of how we should interact with children, and each other, to promote relational health and wellbeing.

It was purposefully designed for a multidisciplinary audience, with content that will inform and advance the knowledge and skills of parents, teachers, and professionals in many fields.
