I’m not receiving e-mails from beKidSafe, what can I do?

If you are missing an email from beKidSafe, it is possible that the message was caught by your spam filter. There are a few factors that can determine if a message is delivered to your inbox or flagged as spam. Here are a few items and tips that you can use to find the message and to help ensure that emails are delivering properly in the future.

  1. Check your spam/junk folder – Your spam filter is a web tool used for managing email service. If email is in spam/junk folder, move to inbox before clicking on any links.
  2. Add the sender to your friend list – Entering sender information to your friend list can bypasses the spam filter and should deliver the message to your mailbox. Add bekidsafe@centerforchildcounseling.org
  3. Check your email filters – Email filters can apply rules to messages, including moving them to different folders.
  4. Make sure the sender has your correct email address – It is common that a sender may have an incorrect spelling or a missing character in the email address itself.
  5. You can search for emails in your Inbox and folders, this doesn’t include spam/junk folder. Search for @centerforchildcounseling.org to see if accidentally missed the email or it went directly into a folder.
  6. Using company email – ask your IT department to whitelist @centerforchildcounseling.org. Means they add to approved senders list so that email client knows sender and trusts them so that emails will arrive in your inbox.
