Benjamin Perks works for the UN in New York, Campaigning on human rights and child development. He is a leading global advocate on issues related to child poverty, education, mental health, early childhood development, and prevention of violence against children.
A renowned voice on ACEs, healing, and resilient systems, Benjamin engages audiences worldwide through keynotes, blogs, and media appearances. Notably, he delivered the keynote at our 2022 virtual Lead the Fight event—“Giving Children with Trauma a Voice”—uplifting leaders across 23 states and 11 countries with his vision of connection as the “vaccine against ACEs.” He is the author of the newly released book, Trauma Proof: Healing, Attachment, and the Science of Prevention—a powerful exploration of how connection and care can break the cycle of intergenerational trauma.
