Vicki Chouris Joins Center for Child Counseling’s Board of Directors

The Center for Child Counseling (CFCC) Board of Directors voted in Vicki Chouris as a member to contribute her leadership expertise in continuing to move the mission of the non-profit agency forward.

Chouris recently retired as President and CEO of the South Florida Fair, a position she held since 2019. Her career with the Fair and Palm Beach County Expositions, Inc. spanned 43 years, including positions as executive secretary to the CEO, sponsorship manager, and chief operating officer. Chouris is an alumna of Palm Beach State College and a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University where she received her Masters in Business Administration. 

Renée Layman, chief executive officer of Center for Child Counseling, stated, “I am incredibly grateful to have Vicki as a member of our board. Her vast leadership experience coupled with her deep understanding of Palm Beach County businesses, systems, and community partnerships will help our agency continue to innovate and take the right risks. Vicki will be essential in supporting our work to create a county where every child will grow up feeling safe and nurtured in a community where they can thrive.”  

Chouris graduated Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2010, alongside Layman and CFCC board members Bill Lynch, Jeff Petrone, and Dr. Eugenia Millender, reflecting a shared commitment to civic engagement and collaborative leadership across Palm Beach County.

“I am honored to be able to serve the youth of our community by working with the Center for Child Counseling in a volunteer capacity. I wholeheartedly believe in the mission of the organization and hope to be able to help make a difference. The work the Center does is crucial to the future of our society,” commented Chouris. 

Chouris continues to support our local community by serving on the boards of directors of the State College Foundation, Quantum House, Law Enforcement Assistance Foundation, the Boca Raton Bowl, the PBC Film and Television Commission, and the Southeast Florida Girl Scouts. She also serves as honorary director of the South Florida Fair.
