DESCRIPTION:In this 4 hour live\, intensive workshop\, participants will learn about: \n\n\n\n\nThe PCE study;\n\n\n\nThe HOPE Framework;\n\n\n\nDefinition of toxic Stress and its Impact on the developing brain in early childhood and throughout the lifespan;\n\n\n\nImpact of early adversity on lifelong health\, mental and physical;\n\n\n\nHow resilience trumps ACEs;\n\n\n\nThe importance of creating trauma-informed and resilience-building practices based on the findings of the ACEs research;\n\n\n\nRole plays practicing effective communication strategies\, including reflective statements; and\n\n\n\nShifting thinking and practice to become trauma-Informed.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis training is sponsored by United Way of Palm Beach County. \n\n\n\nFREE Virtual Workshop
