Alex Hardiman has been home with his parents Jennifer and Peter, of Palm Beach Gardens, for nearly nine years, but scars from his early years in a Russian orphanage sometimes emerge when he struggles with managing or expressing his emotions. Sometimes he might have a burst of anger. Other times it might show in his distrust of others.
